Profile
I am postdoctoral researcher in University of Leeds specialising in developing low-carbon building materials by activating industrial steel slag for CO₂ sequestration and optimising block mix-designs. Also involved in ferrite phase research for cement applications and engineering UK clays for sustainable cement production. Previously, I investigated basic oxygen furnace slag for high-end applications, exploring clinker phase synthesis, heavy metal immobilization, and slag–cement reactivity as a research topic of my doctoral study. I hold an M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry where I worked on the synthesis of luminescent d¹⁰ metal complexes with novel polyaromatic diphosphine ligands.
