Profile
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Leeds. I work with Professor Theodore Hanein on the Future Leaders Fellowship project: “Green, Circular, and Smart Cement Manufacture”. My research focuses on synthesising and developing alternative low CO2 binder systems such as the calcium sulfoaluminate-based binder. I completed my PhD with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. I worked with Dr Piyush Chaunsali on the thesis titled “Composition-property relationships in calcium sulfoaluminate binders”. I received my B. Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, in Civil Engineering, after which I completed my M.Tech. degree in Construction Technology and Management from IIT Madras.
