Dr Katy-Anne Moseley

Profile

I am an environmental microbiologist with a specialism in investigating the transmission and environmental prevalence of pathogens including SARS-CoV-2, Influenza, SARS-CoV-1, MERS, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Bacillus anthracis. I previously worked at UKHSA as a scientific project team leader on a range of projects investigating transmission of pathogens both in the laboratory and the built and non-built environment. I am currently working in a very different role as an Impact Fellow on the TRACK project. I am enjoying both the change of focus and using my microbiological background to further the impact of the track project through stakeholder engagement.

Research interests

I have a broad range of research interests including disease transmission, outbreak investigation and management, resilience planning. I am now part of the Impact team working with Dr Jo-Ann Pattinson to enhance the outputs of TRACK (https://track-project.org.uk).
