Aakash took his undergraduate studies at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi, India and graduated with a BTech degree in Civil Engineering in 2018. His undergraduate project was on modification of bitumen road using waste rubber tyres and PP plastic.
After his undergraduate degree, he cleared the national level examination, GATE, to pursue his MTech in 2018. He earned a monthly stipend/scholarship and completed his MTech degree in 2020 with 1st class honours in Structural Engineering at National Institute of Technology - Meghalaya in Meghalaya, India. His MTech dissertation was based on outrigger belt system in high-rise RCC buildings. Apart from his MTech project, he also closely worked on the modification of CFST stub columns using colloidal nano-silica.
In Oct 2020, Aakash has joined as a postgraduate research student in School of Civil Engineering at University of Leeds.
