Research interests

I have been had an interest in Waste and Water Treatment since I was a high school student. At that time, water and wastewater had become a big problem in my country Indonesia, and there was no significant rule that had appointed the issue. Thus, I took the research in wastewater for my undergraduate thesis. Furthermore, during my masters I expanded my interest to focus on both water and wastewater. Los Angeles, one of the big city which has a big problem in drought, has given me another interest in research. So, one of my dreams is to carry out research that can cover both water and wastewater. Now, I am working with sludge from water treatment to be used in wastewater treatment to eliminate the phosphorus concentration .
