Profile
I am a PhD student at the University of Leeds working with global flood models. My research is focused around improving the river network representation in these global models. I have an MEng degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from the University of Leeds. I also spent a year studying in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Research interests
My research is focused on global flood models and global rivers. My PhD work looks at improving the river network representation in global flood models. I have recently done work collectively validating global flood models against observed flood events in Nigeria and Mozambique. I am currently working on investigating population exposure to rivers of different sizes and how this can help determine the appropriate scale representation of global flood models.
