Profile

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Leeds, working within the Project Management Group at the School of Civil Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Science. My research project is funded by the School of Civil Engineering, and it is centred on investigating the role of leadership meaning making in shaping sustainability in construction projects within the UK.
Regarding my academic qualifications, I hold a Distinction in MSc Project Management from De Montfort University and a First (1st) Class in BSc Business Management from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. My industry experience includes on-site management of commercial renovation projects at the UN World Food Programme and partner agencies in The Gambia.

Research interests

My research interest revolves around leadership, with particular focus on meaning making and its potential to align different interpretations of sustainability, such that sustainability can advance in and through projects.
