Profile

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Leeds. My research project is on developing a multi-criteria decision-making model for buildings decarbonisation with Circular Economy principles. I am working within the Cities, Infrastructure, and Energy, Project Management, and materials groups at the School of Civil Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Science. Regarding my academic background, I made a course on Project Management in the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2020. I obtained the Bachelor’s degree of Architect from the Ibero-American University in 2018. I had presented at the Leeds Center for Projects (LCP) conference in 2024. I receive a Mexican scholarshop from the National Council for Humanities Science and Technology (CONAHCyT).

I have worked on the construction industry, working on refurbishment of flats, houses and commercial properties. Where I had many project management responsibilities across different stage of the executive project, including on-site management. Thereby, I obtained practical knowledge of on-site projects and allowed me to develop skills on management. 

 

 

Research interests

I am interested on building retrofitting and construction, focused on the carbon emissions reductions and improve well-being of users. Additionally, I am interest on the circular economy principles and how they can be integrated into design decisions.
