“I always felt like presenting was my weakness. I’d get nervous really easily despite being an outgoing person. I knew I wanted to improve this, so I chose a discovery module where presenting was a big factor. It helped me improve my presentation skills, my communication skills and my commercial awareness.

I feel like the discovery module option can take you out of the course bubble you’re in and makes you aware of the wider opportunities around you. It’s an option to be adventurous with, as you can do something completely unrelated to your course. My advice is to look at everything as you’d be surprised at the things you can do.”
