Profile

I am an astrochemist with a particular interest in molecules and dust around evolved stars. My research is focussed on developing chemical models for AGB outflows. These aim to explain the rich complexity in current observations and help guide future ones. Their goal is to unravel link between chemistry and dynamics throughout the outflow and to quantify the output of AGB stars into the interstellar medium.

Research interests

My research deals with the outflows of AGB stars and can be divided into three main components:

  1. Retrieving physical and chemical characteristics from observations using radiative transfer
  2. Developing chemical models by including new physics and chemistry
  3. Using these models in the interpretation of observational result
