Profile
Our work is currently focused on molecular interfaces, emergent functionalities and spin transport.
Research interests
My research interests cover a broad range of topics, including:
1.- Sustainable magnetism; controlling magnetic properties such as anisotropy and spin orbit coupling via molecular interfaces whilst reduing the use of rare earths and/or heavy metals.
2.- Electron and spin dependent transport in carbon based materials and hybrid interfaces, such as spin Hall magnetoresistance in metallo-molecular structures.
3.- Nanomagnetism and molecular magnetism, with a view to implement molecular materials into magnetic devices for information storage and computing.
4.- Spin capacitive and spin photovoltaic effects at molecular-oxide devices.
5.- Experiments at large scale facilities, such as ionic diffusion and magnetisation dynamics using polarised neutron reflectivity, X-ray absorption and muon spin spectroscopy.
