Profile

I graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc, MPhys degree in 2016. During my years at Warwick, I also worked at various research groups at the University of Cambridge and Bogazici University.

After obtaining my PhD studentship through Graphene NOWNANO Centre of Doctoral Training, I worked on transport properties of graphene and 2D materials at the Unversity of Manchester School of Physics and Astronomy under Nobel Laureate Sir Kostya Novoselov.

From September 2022 onwards, I have been working at the Condensed Matter Physics group of the University of Leeds. My initial work at University of Leeds was carried out under Professor Oscar Cespedes on metal-molecular interfaces in thin film heterostructures and magneto-transport on these systems where we have observed a novel ultrafast spin reorientation transition.

I am currently growing and investigating thin films and interfaces of Kagome crystal, non collinear antiferromagnet Mn3Ge, working with Prof. B J Hickey and Prof. Gavin Burnell as a CAMIE Research Fellow.
