Profile
I completed my undergraduate degree in Astrophysics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) in 2019, where my project focused on the molecular emission of HCN isotopologues in the planet-forming disk around V4046 Sgr, using ALMA observations. I then got my MSc degree in Astrophysics at PUC in 2022, where I used ALMA data of two externally FUV-irradiated protoplanetary disks on the outskirts of the Orion Nebula Cluster to study the chemistry in disks in massive star-forming regions. I am currently a PhD student in Astrophysics at the University of Leeds. My research uses chemical kinetics models to investigate the physical and chemical processes occurring in planet-forming regions around different types of stars.
