Tanmay Bhore (तन्मय भोरे)

PhD student in the theoretical physics research group.

My educational qualifications are:

  • BS-MS in Physics, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, India.
  • MS Thesis: “Entanglement Dynamics and Thermalization in Isolated Quantum Systems” Supervisor: Dr. Tommaso Roscilde, École normale supérieure de Lyon, France.

Research interests

I’m broadly interested in the dynamics of quantum many-body systems, and particularly in it’s connection to thermalization. I have previously worked on deep thermalization: an approach to thermal equilibrium in quantum simulators relying on projective measurements. I am currently studying Many-body Localization in lattice gauge theories.
