I am a senior scientist at the Met Office, and currently a Visiting Cheney Fellow at the School of Mathematics.

Research interests

I am interested in geophysical and environmental fluid dynamics. This includes:

• plumes and thermals
• atmospheric downdraughts
• urban weather and climate
• lakes
