Dr Pelin Senel

Profile

I received my B.Sc. in Mathematics from Ankara University, Ankara, Turkiye, in 2010. I participated in an undergraduate student exchange programme and studied at the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Krakow, Poland, for five months during the 2009-2010 academic year. I completed a minor programme in Business Administration in 2011.
I graduated from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkiye, with an M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics in 2012. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkiye, in 2017.
I have been teaching many undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mathematics since 2012.

Research interests

My primary research interests are in computational fluid dynamics related to heat and mass transfer in magnetohydrodynamics flows, the convergence and numerical stability of boundary elements method, inverse problems, and meshless methods. Some of my selected papers are listed below.
