Profile
I am a Research Fellow in the School of Mathematics, specifically the Department of Applied Mathematics, at the University of Leeds. I received my PhD from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, India. My research interests lie in coupling advanced machine-learning algorithms with satellite imagery to enhance satellite observations and developing innovative machine-learning solutions for critical issues in hydrology. I am an active member of the European Geosciences Union (EGU), the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), and the Indian Radio Science Society (InRaSS). I have been honoured with the Vice-Chancellor Gold Medal for securing the first rank in both my bachelor’s and master’s programs. I was awarded the prestigious ”DST-INSPIRE” Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, to pursue my doctoral studies. I have also received the DAAD Fellowship and several grants from AGU and EGU (e.g., Lloyd V. Berkner Fellowship, Roland Schlich Travel Support, etc.).
