Dr. Xiling Zhang

Profile

I joined the University of Leeds in June 2024, where my responsibilities are focused on student education in mathematics. I am also a member of the Department of Statistics.

Research interests

My research interests lie in the field of stochastic analysis, particularly qualitative and quantitative aspects of stochastic differential equations and their modelling applications. My recent work has been focused on probabilistic solutions of free-boundary problems, diffusion-limited aggregations, mean-field systems and integrate-and-fire models in computational neuroscience.
