Filippa Lo Biundo

Profile

I am a first-year PhD student in the School of Mathematics, under the supervision of Dr. Francesca Tripaldi, Dr. Gerasim Kokarev, and Dr. Benjamin Sharp.

I am part of the Geometry group, and my main research interests are in sub-Riemannian geometry.

I completed my undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Pisa.

Research interests

Currently, I am studying the Rumin complex, a homotopically equivalent subcomplex of the de Rham complex.

My aim is to obtain hypo-elliptic operators on forms on particular Carnot groups.
