Research interests
I am trying to understand what kinds of fluid instabilities happen inside stars. I take a small box of plasma inside a star and see how it behaves under the local conditions how it moves, whether it becomes unstable, and what those instabilities look like. Then I move that box to different places inside the Sun to see how things change from one region to another. Ultimately, I’m trying to figure out which instabilities actually matter for shifting angular momentum around and mixing chemical elements in the star’s radiative interior.
