Dr Aimin Wang

Profile

I received my PhD degree in control science and engineering from Shanghai University, Shanghai, China, in 2025. From 2024 to 2025, I was a Visiting Ph.D. Student at the College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. I am now a Research Fellow in the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Leeds.

I received the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from Shanghai Association of Automation, as well as the prestigious National Scholarship for Doctoral Candidates in China. I was also selected for the Excellent Development Program for Doctoral Candidates at the School of Mechatronic Engineering and Automation, Shanghai University. I serve as an active reviewer for multiple international journals, including various IEEE Transactions and Elsevier publications.

Research interests

My research focuses on stability analysis and controller synthesis of renewable energy systems, including scalable, plug-and-play, and switched control, with specific applications in aerospace electronics and railway power networks.
