Profile
I am an accomplished engineer and research scientist with over 30 years of experience in both industry and academia, with a proven track record of success in the implementation of scientific and technical tasks, in managing and coordinating large-scale technical and IT projects.
From 2012, I was a member of the University of Birmingham's research team, where my research activities were primarily focused on remote sensing using radar and sonar sensors, electronic systems design, and microwave signal propagation and scattering. Between 2018 and 2023, I was in charge of overseeing and improving operations at the Terahertz measurement facility, where I played a key role in setting up a really efficient facility that not only helped university research but also provided testing services to other organisations.
Since 2023, I have worked at the University of Leeds as a Lead Technician for the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
