Research interests

The group is involved in a range of chemical biology based research.  We collaborate extensively with Prof. Alison Baker to develop to investigate and utilise peroxisomal protein trafficking pathways, both enhancing our understanding of the import process using checmical tools as well as maniupulating the peroxisomal import machinery for biotechnological applications.  We are also interested in new strategies for the discovery of bioactive molecules, developing the Activity Directed Synthesis platform with Prof Adam Nelson. The work is also supported by our expertise in Mass Spectrometry which is used extensively in a number of group projects and external collaborations.
