Institute of Process Research and Development (iPRD) Nominated at iChemE Global Awards Ceremony

iPRD – was nominated by iChemE in the Process Automation and Digitalisation category for their recent Global Awards Ceremony.

Whilst iPRD, a joint activity between the Schools of Chemical and Process Engineering, and Chemistry, was not on this occasion selected as a winner (BP won), C-Capture who are a UoL spin-out company founded by Professor Chris Rayner (iPRD member), were winners in the Energy category. 

The event, held in Manchester on Thursday 17 November, was attended by around 350 chemical engineers from industry and academia, and the dozen attendees from the UoL were able to celebrate engineering contributions to society along with the host, Reverend Richard Coles (UoL 2005 alumnus). A great evening was had by all!
