Jo Morton, Chemistry with a Year in Industry graduate, has won the Salters’ Graduate Award 2024 recognising her as one of the top ten chemistry and chemical engineering students in the UK.

Jed Walsh, a final year Chemistry MChem, BSc student at the University of Leeds, was awarded the second place prize in the Reckitt Sustainability Challenge 2024.

Katherine Whyte, a third year Medicinal Chemistry MChem student, has successfully presented her Year in Industry project at the National Undergraduate Industrial Placement Showcase.

Daniel West, a final year Natural Sciences student, has won a University of Leeds Beaumont Award for his research into the biomedical applications of protein hydrogels.

Two Natural Sciences students, Daniel West and Rebecca Wurr, presented their research at the Society for Natural Sciences student conference in London on Tuesday 4th April.
