Dr Jenny Eyley


Jenny Eyley is a Teaching Fellow in the School of Chemistry and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Gaining her MChem degree from the University of Durham, Jenny went on to complete a PhD with Professor Martin Schröder at the University of Nottingham studying gas sorption into Metal Organic Frameworks. After graduating, she joined the University of Reading as an Outreach Officer, working on the RSC’s project “Chemistry for All” and was later appointed as a Teaching Fellow in Physical and Inorganic Chemistry. She moved to Leeds to take up her current position in 2020. Jenny’s interests involve enhancing the student education experience and increasing engagement in chemistry through outreach.
