Profile
I joined the University of Leeds as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow (PDRA) in October 2024 within School of Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Currently working on the development of continuous flow process for the late stage commercialization of Lowcat technology within iPRD group.
I have previously served as an Assistant Professor in the Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering department at Manipal University Jaipur, India. I hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. With over 7 years in academia and 2 years in industry, I have rich experience in chemical engineering. I worked as a Process Engineer at Reliance Industries Limited, where I was responsible for monitoring and controlling key process parameters in a polyethylene plant and conducting hazard analysis. I was also a recipeint of commonwealth professional fellowship hosted at University of strathclyde in 2023. My research interests include sustainable chemical processes and environmental protection, with expertise in material synthesis, catalysis, and waste-to-energy solutions that aligns with the sustainable development goals of clean energy, clean water and sanitation, and climate action.
