Profile
I completed my PhD in medicinal chemistry with Professor Michael Stocks at the University of Nottingham in 2021. My research focussed on tackling antimicrobial resistance by blocking communication systems in the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa by interfering with quorum sensing networks.
I moved to the University of Leeds in 2021, working on developing novel broad spectrum antibiotics with Professor Colin Fishwick and Dr Martin McPhillie. Since then I have worked on high throughput methods to develop new chemical probes targeting protein kinases.
