- Thesis title: Using Confinement and Surface Topography to Control Crystallisation
- Supervisor: Professor Fiona Meldrum, Dr Yi-Yeoun Kim
Profile
I studied for my integrated Master’s degree at the University of Leeds, taking my 3rd year to study at McMaster University in Canada. I joined the Meldrum group as a PhD student in 2019, funded by the EPSRC’s ‘Crystallisation in the Real World’ project (https://realworldcrystals.leeds.ac.uk/).
Research interests
I have been studying the effect of surface topography on crystallisation, focusing on the enhancement of crystal nucleation rates using surface features.
Qualifications
- MChem Integrated Masters in Chemistry (Leeds University)
