In 2017 Scott graduated from the University of Leeds with a first class MChem degree in Chemistry. He spent his final year undertaking a project with Dr V. Sridharan focusing on the synthesis of various compounds with the use of Iridium catalysed 'hydrogen borrowing' chemistry. He also focused on developing potential small molecule inhibitors of the MDM2-p53 protein-protein interaction
Research interests
Scott's PhD will be looking into developing novel molecular scaffolds that explore lead like chemical space.
