Profile
After completing my PhD I spent eight years as a research fellow working in the energy field. I joined the technical staff in SCaPE and now run an analytical lab that supports teaching and research. I am also involved in training new analytical technicians and developing on-line resources for my team and the School.

Student education
- I train staff and PGR students in analytical techniques and general laboratory practice.
- I support and write scripts for UG and PG laboratory practical classes and provide experimental support for taught-course student research projects.
- I teach CDT first-year students about analytical techniques and provide experimental support for their mini-projects.
- I support schemes to widen partipation in HE, including open day, out-reach, foundation year and work experience activities.
