Profile
I hold a dual masters in Physics and Nanotechnology, with specific interests in polymer nanocomposites. I did my M.Sc in Physics from University of Madras, Chennai and M.Tech in Nanotechnology from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. During my M.Tech course, I have undertaken an Ersamus+ study mobility in Romania in collaboration with two prestigious institutions, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iaşi and the National Institute of Research and Development for Technical Physics (NIRDTP), Iaşi. There I have extensively worked on magnetic and 2D-layered nanoparticles for phohotcatalysis and drug delivery applications. Furthermore, I have worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. under Department of Space (Govt. of India), Trivandrum, in biopolymer-based nanocomposites for energy storage applications.
Research interests
My research interests lie in the area of polymeric nanocomposites for energy, defence, and aerospace applications. I acquired hands-on experience in using advanced characterization techniques like SEM, UV-Vis, XRD, FTIR, TGA, DSC, mechanical (UTM), extrusion & compounding. and viscoeleastic properties.
