Profile
I completed a BSc in Chemistry at the University of Kingston in 2022, where my project focused on creating a novel synthesis for bismuth nanoparticles composites on various 2D materials. Following this I completed a MSc Materials Science and Engineering at The University of Leeds where I got the opportunity to study the capabilities of 4D-STEM with EDX for the characterisation of Nanoparticles.
I commenced my PhD in at the University of Leeds under Professor Rik Drummond Brydson in October 2024.
Research interests
Throughout my project my main objective will be to image the uptake of agrochemicals within biomaterials using a combination of various characterisation techniques. The work will focus on using FIB-SEM and TOF-SIMS and developing procedures that allow for discrimination of various beam sensitive organic materials.
Qualifications
- Bsc Chemistry (Hons)
