Jiacheng Yao

Profile

I completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering (University of Leeds, UK) based in the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, with a thesis entitled “Mechanical Characterisation of Acetabular Soft Tissues: Experimental and Computational Study”. I joined the same institute and started my new position as a research assistant on the Knee programme grant.

Research interests

My current research focused on the development and sensitivity analysis of imaged-based finite element models of natural knee joint.

Visit the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering’s website (IMBE) for more information on their research.
