As Technology Innovation Officer at the University of Leeds, my role is to help find, develop and manage exciting projects that can lead to real patient benefits.
My background is in Cancer biology and Cell and Gene Therapies, and I have experience of working on cutting edge projects in industry. I am experienced in managing projects from early-stage development and feasibility, up to clinical trials.
I deal with academic engagement and capability matching to help kick start projects or help existing projects to progress. I work closing with our academics and clinicians to ensure projects have the maximum impact.
I am responsible for managing the IKC’s portfolio of active Proof of Concept projects, and for identifying new opportunities that could be developed.
After obtaining my Masters in Medical biology, I developed over 4 years’ experience of working in industry and GMP project management.
