I always had a deep interest in my subject and very soon I decided that I need to see the real world applications of what I was studying. This made me go out and find a placement.I managed to find a summer internship after the second year at an SME in Dewsbury called Caldervale Technology Limited. I learnt a lot and wanted to gain more experience and I ended up doing an year long placement after my third year at EnOcean GmbH in Munich, Germany. In both the places, I was working as a software developer. My work was praised by the team but I could not find my passion in software development. I was often advised by my supervisors that I should try to develop a career in Product Management or Technical Selling because of my interest and knowledge towards the commercial side of the company. This motivated me to come up with a business idea and become an entrepreneur.

Soon enough when I came back to the University for my final year, I realized that the university has a program called Spark which helps students in start-ups. I had a business idea in mind and I thought about discussing the same with the spark team. They encouraged the idea and I began technical work on this along with a friend who is a graduate from the Leeds University and a professional web developer.

The NFC chip and the QR-code has been designed such that client specific changes can be remotely implemented on them.
