(For academic year 2022/23 only)
What do I need to include in my application?
Please check your qualifications match the entry requirements for the course you are applying for.
When reviewing applications particular attention will be paid to academic performance. Given the competition for places, preference will be given to applicants who have or who are projected to exceed our minimum requirements.
As part of your online application you will be required to upload scanned documents.
Your application must include the following:
A copy of your degree certificate and complete transcript, or an interim transcript showing all semesters to date if you’re still studying.
Evidence of your final or current overall percentage (%) or GPA (see below for further guidance if you are studying in China, India or Canada).
Non-essential items, if you have them, please include the following:
Please include a copy of your grading scheme if this is not on your degree transcript. This is essential if you are applying for a scholarship via the University.
Your approved English Language test (if applicable).

We are normally able to issue a conditional offer without these documents, but if they are required we will not issue an unconditional offer until we have received them.

We normally will not look at your CV. You should include all relevant experience in your application.
Please do not include the following:
A personal statement.
We will not check these items.
Applicants with Indian degrees:
If you have completed your degree you will need to provide official evidence of your final overall percentage (%), we do not use the GPA. Please include your full transcripts and any grading scales (they may be on the reverse of your degree documents) with your application.
Please make sure that official evidence of your final percentage (%) is included, many grading scales show how to convert percentage (%) to GPA but these do not work in reverse.
Your Standard XII may be acceptable as an English language qualification dependent on your score and exam board, please include a copy with your application if you have achieved 70% or greater.
Applicants with Chinese degrees:
You will need to provide official evidence of your current/final percentage (%), we do not use GPA. Your average must be weighted not arithmetic.

Please provide details of the grading system. This should include the percentage pass mark for your degree.
Please also provide evidence of which language your degree was taught in (e.g. English or French).
Applicants with degree equivalency below our stated entry requirements:

When to apply
The School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering operates a staged admissions process for Masters courses with selection deadlines throughout the year.
Deadlines for courses starting in September 2022 are shown in the table below.
If you apply before the Application deadline for a particular stage, as shown below, you will normally receive a response on or before the “Decision by” date.

|1||Friday 26 November 2021||Friday 25 February 2022|
|2||Tuesday 8 February 2022||Friday 29 April 2022|
