Mrs Ellen Goodison

I started my academic career in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bradford, from where I moved to Leeds University some years ago; I went on to work in several academic departments as an administrator under various job tiles. My first school administrator job at Leeds was in the Department of Textile Industries, which since has transformed into the School of Design. From there I moved on to the Department of Joint Honours for a few years. After a break to join the NHS, where I was part of an innovative team which designed and taught Postgraduate Diplomas for Practitioners with a Special Interest, I came back to Leeds Uni again, and worked in Quality Assurance, was Admissions Administrator in the Dental Institute and lastly managed the LIME assessment team in the School of Medicine (but not all at the same time). From Medicine I left Leeds Uni once again, this time to work for Leeds City Council for some time. I was pleased to return to the Faculty of Engineering when I joined the CDT, which is based in the School of Computing in July 2019. The Centre is physically located in LIDA, the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics, on floor 11 of the Worsley Building.
