Profile
I studied Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Durham University, and then took an MSc. in Chemical Biology at the University of Leeds. I stayed at Leeds for a Ph.D. with Professors Andy Wilson, Alison Ashcroft and Sheena Radford on the analysis of biomolecular interactions using photochemical cross-linking. I went on to work with Professor David H. Phillips (King’s College London) as part of the FP7 EXPOsOMICS project, and then with Professors Tony Whetton and Robert Bristow (University of Manchester) on the use of omics technologies in cancer research. In my current role I am working with Professor Andy Wilson and Dr Stuart Warriner to establish a chemical proteomics facility in the School of Chemistry.
