Dr Nicholas Holmes

Nicholas Holmes is a research fellow in automated flow chemistry at the University of Leeds and GlaxoSmithKline. He completed a PhD at the University of Leeds under the supervision of Dr Richard A Bourne, exploring the use of self-optimisation in pharmaceutical and fine chemical development, sponsored by AstraZeneca, EPSRC DTG funded CASE award and the University of Leeds. His current research is in the development of self-optimising flow reactors to generate kinetic models, sponsored by GSK and the University of Leeds, and he works full time at the GSK Medicines Research Centre in Stevenage.
