Profile
Aaron graduated from the University of Leeds with an undergraduate degree in Biology (BSc). He then joined the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Bioenergy at the University of Leeds to complete an integrated MSc and PhD. Aaron’s recently submitted his PhD thesis entitled “Integration of Hydrothermal Conversion and Anaerobic Fermentation for the Valorisation of High Ash Feedstocks”, investigating the integration of hydrothermal and biological conversion technologies to improve the energy recovery from typically problematic biomass.
